Duquesne University President Ken Gormley has been named by the Pittsburgh Business Times to the Pittsburgh Power 100, its list of the region’s most influential business leaders.

According to Pittsburgh Business Times, the Power 100 is a guide—not a ranking—that indicates “the most influential people at this moment in time.” The overall list is broken into sections, with Gormley being named to the “Catalysts” category.

Described as leaders who “stand at the intersection of research, job training and economic development,” These individuals are already helping to build the workforce and leaders of tomorrow from schools and organizations that regularly attract investment and collaboration.

“To be included among such an elite group of influential leaders from our region is truly an honor,” said Gormley. “As president of Duquesne University, I am deeply humbled to be named to the Pittsburgh Business Times’ prestigious Power 100 list. It reflects the achievements of the entire campus community, to be recognized in this fashion.”
