Biography

Maria DeCrosta is the Assistant Director of Alumni & Development for the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. She is a seasoned and results-driven fundraiser passionate about making a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector. With a proven track record of successfully spearheading fundraising campaigns, Maria has honed a unique blend of strategic planning, relationship building, and creative problem-solving skills.

With over 20 years of experience in education-based nonprofits, Maria has consistently exceeded goals by cultivating strong relationships and implementing innovative strategies. With a reputation for building bridges between donors and organizations and her ability to communicate a compelling and authentic narrative, she creates lasting positive change. 

Maria received her M.S. in Education and B.A. in Psychology from Duquesne University and is working toward becoming a Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE). 

She has held several key fundraising and enrollment management positions in Western Pennsylvania and shares her knowledge and expertise by volunteering in her community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and crafting.
