Biography

Martin joined Duquesne University in February of 2019. He serves as a liaison between the Career Development Center and the Office of Alumni Engagement. In his role he seeks to expand the number of alumni assisting students with job and internship placements, mentoring, networking and advising. He attends regional and national events, networks with Duquesne alumni and friends of the University and works to develop key priorities and strategic partnerships with University directors and School deans.

Martin has previously served in career development and leadership roles at New York University, Carnegie Mellon, Brandeis University and Thiel College. He has directed international work-abroad programs, and served as an editor, translator, teacher and nonprofit administrator.

His passions include peace and conflict studies, community engagement and attacking Pittsburgh's daunting verticals on his bike. He lives with his wife and two sons in Oakmont, PA.
