Ambulatory Care Certificate: A Starter Kit for Developing Sustainable Clinical Pharmacy Services
Pharmacists leading practice change must develop skills related to business planning and models, infrastructure establishment, and workflow processes. The Ambulatory Care Certificate program will give participants proficiency in discussing established value-based care models with key stakeholders and will apply business planning concepts to the development and implementation of a sustainable ambulatory care practice. Program launches April 7, 2024!
Healthcare Leadership Certificate Program
In our fast-paced, complex, evolving environment, strong leadership is absolutely vital. The Healthcare Leadership Certificate Program is an educational experience designed to equip pharmacists and healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to lead and thrive in today’s healthcare climate. The program provides comprehensive instruction in current leadership topics including talent recruitment, people management, and workflow management, along with the opportunity to apply the skills learned to complex leadership scenarios.
Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certificate Program
Accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP), the Tobacco Treatment Specialist certificate program trains healthcare practitioners as Tobacco Treatment Specialists (TTS). A TTS possesses the skills, knowledge and training to provide effective, evidence-based interventions for tobacco dependence in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health centers, educational settings, social services, tobacco treatment centers, telemedicine, mental health centers and more. The TTS not only in provides treatment but educates patients and other professionals on tobacco dependence treatments.
Springfest Continuing Education Seminar
Springfest Continuing Education Seminar is designed to give alumni and friends of the School of Pharmacy the opportunity to earn continuing pharmacy education credit. Join us on April 20, 2024 at the Duquesne University Power Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
